University
District/Downtown Spokane Transportation Improvement Study
The University
District/Downtown Spokane Transportation Improvement Study was completed
in 2009. The purpose of the study was to provide a comprehensive
assessment of the transportation needs in the University District/Downtown
study area. This study provides a realistic and tangible plan for the
future that guides investment, supports development and addresses

Spokane Street Bond
This year marks the third year under the
10-Year Street Bond. As in past years, you'll notice that this year will
be another busy construction season. Since the Bond program was passed,
nearly 30 miles have been repaired. We're happy to report that we're ahead
of schedule and on-budget. The
Street Bond
Program is overseen by the
Citizen Streets Advisory Commission (CSAC) appointed by the Mayor.
The bi-annual report was presented to City Council in October, 2009.
